A meditative Tunisian Crochet Shawl inspired by the beauty of the garden’s best friend.
Maximizing efficiency, just like the honey bee visiting an average of 2,000 flowers a day which increases the chance of fruit production, the pollinator shawl is designed to utilize two full skeins (~200g) of DK yarn with minimal waste. Gauge is not crucial and can be measured as you go. The pattern includes tips to adjust your row count to better use your yarn based on your observed gauge during this meditative make.
This item is a digital PDF Download for the pattern. The yarn and finished item are not included.

Color & Washing
Color & Washing
Sunset Fiber Company uses professional grade acid dyes, the dye bath is exhausted, and the yarn is washed and rinsed afterwards. During the first wash, some minimal color bleeding may occur. This is most common with highly saturated colorways. This should resolve after the first wash.
All of our yarn is hand-dyed in a smoke free, dog friendly studio. As is the beauty of handmade items, each skein of yarn will have slight variations from the rest. At Sunset Fiber Company we take pride in our dyeing process and aim for consistency among each batch. However, please note that due to the nature of our products and various computer monitor settings, the yarn you receive may look slightly different from the yarn pictured on the screen.
